Our Focus: Assets, Asylum, and Advocacy
BFN's greatest strength is relational: building trust, unity, and collaborative strength across a diverse, multicultural fellowship. We concentrate that strength on three areas and connect members with trusted partners for needs beyond them.
|
Assets
We invest in people and places. On the human side, we support the financial well-being of clergy and ministerial staff and build leadership development pipelines for the next generation of ministry. On the physical side, we help churches steward their land and property through innovative development, so buildings and grounds keep serving congregations and communities for generations. |
|
Asylum
We create sanctuary. We support churches as places of refuge, rest, and healing through trauma-informed care, clergy rest and retreat, pastoral care networks, and welcome for displaced and vulnerable neighbors. |
|
Advocacy
We practice faith in public life. We equip clergy, chaplains, lay leaders, and young people for moral leadership, systemic justice, and public policy engagement grounded in our shared faith. |
Our Partners
Beyond our core areas, BFN connects members with trusted partners for needs like education, housing, healthcare, and legal aid.
